PERALES PACES HENS: In Delaware’s 2-0 victory over Holy Cross, senior Carlos Perales had a career-day scoring a pair of goals. Perales tallied a free kick in the 30th minute before adding a penalty kick goal in the 60th minute. The multiple goal game was the first by a Blue Hen since Guillermo Delgado scored twice against Maryland Oct. 25, 2016.

DEFENSE LEADING THE WAY: The Blue Hens have been one of the best defensive teams in the country this season, having outscored their opponents 5-1. Delaware’s 0.31 goal allowed average is the 16th best mark in the NCAA and best in the CAA. Delaware is outscoring its opponents 5-1 so far this season. The Blue Hens are currently 11th in the country in save percentage (.938).

MORTON’S BEEN MONEY: Goalie Todd Morton has been dominating so far this season. The goalie has allowed just one goal in his three games, compiling the 16th best goals allowed average in the country. The goalie needs just four more victories to become the winningest goalie in program history.  Morton has compiled a pair of shutouts this season and has the 11th best save percentage in the country.
