• The Blue Hens close out a busy stretch that has seen Delaware play five games in an 11-day period.
• Delaware and UNCW are meeting for the second time in nine days. The teams kicked off league play last Saturday in Wilmington, when the Blue Hens edged the Seahawks, 58-56, in Trask Coliseum.
Ryan Daly put UD in front by converting a three-point play with 50 seconds remaining in that game, and added a free throw with eight seconds on the clock. UNCW’s Jaylen Fornes missed a three-pointer at the buzzer.
• The Seahawks lead the all-time series with the Blue Hens, 22-12, but the Blue Hens are 8-6 vs. UNCW at the Bob Carpenter Center.
• Delaware lost its second game in a row with Friday’s 90-65 home loss to William & Mary.
Ryan Daly led the Blue Hens with 21 points, his sixth 20-point effort of the season. Darian Bryant added 10 points off the bench, while Skye Johnson tied his season-highs with 10 points and six rebounds.
Anthony Mosley scored six points and now has 814 points for his carer, tied for 50th place in Delaware history.
• The Blue Hens have allowed two consecutive opponents to shoot over 59 percent from the field for the first time this century.
• Delaware closes its three-game homestand on Thursday when the Blue Hens welcome rival Drexel to the BCC.
