JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Blue Hen sophomore Ariane Klotz is tied for third place while the University of Delaware women’s golf team is 10th following Monday’s action at the UNF Collegiate.

Klotz fired a pair of one under par rounds on the par 72, 5,926-yard Jacksonville Golf & Country Club course, ending the day with a two under par 71-71-142. Jiwon Jeon of Daytona State leads the field with a nine under par 66-69-135, Katerina Vlasinova of Old Dominion sits in second place at three under, and Klotz and Mary Joiner of Western Kentucky are tied for third place at two under.

Thitaree Sakulbunpanich is tied for 33rd place with a seven over par 77-74-151, while Valentina Mueller carded a nine over par 78-75-153 to end the day tied for 41st place. Ashley Dingman is tied for 52nd place with a 12 over par 79-77-156, while Isabella Rimton is 87th with a 23 over par 83-84-167.

The Blue Hens posted team rounds of 305 and 297 on Monday, finishing the day in 10th place out of 17 squads with a 602 total. Old Dominion leads the standings at 571, while Western Kentucky and Murray State are tied for second place with 586 scores.

The final round of the tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
