     · The Blue Hens welcome #19/rv Princeton to Delaware Stadium as the second game in a doubleheader with the Delaware men's lacrosse team.
     · Saturday's games will recognize the One Love Foundation, which empowers people to #LoveBetter and understand that one conversation, one action and one person can make a difference and even save a life from domestic violence. The One Love Foundation
was co-founded by Sharon and Lexie Love in May 2010 to honor their daughter and sister, Yeardley Reynolds Love, a University of Virginia student-athlete who was murdered by her ex-boyfriend. The organization supports its mission to end relationship violence through the core values that Yeardley exemplified: education, service, kindness, dedication, humility and sportsmanship. The more we can identify and navigate healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviors, the less likely one will end up in an unhealthy or abusive relationship.
     · This past Tuesday, Delaware came away with an 11-10 win against San Diego State. Defensively, the Hens caused 15 turnovers for the second straight game while grabbing a season-best 28 ground balls, including a career-high seven from Chantae Simms.
     · The Blue Hens are 45-38 (.542) all-time at Delaware Stadium since their first game there in February 2011.
     · Becky Gohsler ranks third in Blue Hens single season history with a career-high 44 draw controls and is third in program history with 149 career draw controls. Caitlin McCartney (2012-15) holds the school record with 186 career draw controls while Erin Edell (2002-05) is second with 152.
     ·  Becky Gohsler is also third all-time with 65 career caused turnovers. Erin Wein (2013-16) holds the school record with 126 career caused turnover while Caitlin McCartney (2012-15) is second with 86.
     ·  Taylor Carpentier ranks fourth nationally with 11.44 saves per game while Mia DeRuggiero is 13th with 2.3 assists per game and Becky Gohsler is 17th with 2.3 caused turnovers per game.
     ·  Taylor Carpentier is eighth in program history with 341 career saves. She is approaching Patrice Hughes' mark of 344 career saves from 2003-05.

    · This season marks the 41st overall in Delaware program history.  In the previous 40 seasons, the Blue Hens have tallied a composite record of 377-295 (.561) with 18 10-plus win campaigns.
     · A squad that went 9-8 overall and 4-2 in CAA play with a trip to the CAA Tournament last year, UD returns 19 letter winners and eight starters while adding 11 newcomers.
     · A youthful squad, the Hens feature just 11 juniors and seniors in 2017.
     · Delaware was predicted to finished fourth in the CAA Preseason Poll.
     · Seniors Taylor Carpentier and Becky Gohsler were picked as All-CAA Preseason selections.
     · Kateri Linville, who is in her eighth season at her alma mater in 2017-18, welcomes Joe Tornetta and Callie Santos as assistant coaches for the year. 

     · Princeton leads the all-time series, 20-5, over Delaware since the first matchup in 1985.
     · Last season, Delaware played #8/7 Princeton nearly straight up for the first 30 minutes, but the host Tigers dominated the second half and downed the Blue Hens, 16-4, April 2 at Sherrerd Field at Class of 1952 Stadium. Becky Gohsler led UD with a career-high five draw controls to go along with three ground balls, two caused turnovers and a goal. 
     · In the last matchup at Delaware Stadium, the #11/13 Tigers held off the Hens, 7-6, on April 3, 2016.
