• LAST TIME OUT: The Blue Hens earned their third victory of the season Wednesday night, defeating BIG EAST foe Seton Hall. In the victory, goalie Todd Morton made six saves to earn his third shutout victory of the season.

• PENALTY KICK SUCCESS: Delaware has attempted three penalty kick this season, converting all three. Thibault Philippe scored the opening goal of the season against Bryant on a penalty kick. On Wednesday night, Philippe again converted on a penalty kick. Carlos Perales scored on the Blue Hens other PK.

• MAGIC NUMBER IS TWO: Delaware is 3-0 this season when scoring at least two goal, while the Blue Hens are 0-1-1 when scoring one goal. A season ago, Delaware went 8-1-1 when scoring at least twice.

• MORTON’S CLOSE TO HISTORY: Morton is closing in multiple Delaware school’s records. The West Chester, Pa. native will become the winningest goalie in program history with just three more overall victories. Morton’s current goals against average is currently .50, which would surpass the Delaware all-time mark of .80. Morton needs just six more shutouts this season to tie the program record of nine. The goalie has made 146 saves in his career which is the 10th most all-time. He needs just 10 more saves to move into ninth place all-time. Morton’s next clean sheet will be 15th career shutout which would move the goalie into second place all-time, and just five behind Dave Whitcraft for most shutouts in program history.
