• The Blue Hens are back on the road to continue conference play after hosting their first two home games last weekend, following five straight weeks of travel. Delaware travels south to UNCW on Friday and to the College of Charleston on Sunday. UD opened conference play with a win over William & Mary but has fallen short in the three matches since, bringing the Blue Hens to 1-3 in league play and 3-11 overall.
• Outside hitter Maria Bellinger led the team in kills over the weekend, with 10 on Friday against Northeastern and 15 on Sunday against Hofstra. Bellinger has slammed double figure kills in all but two matches this season and is ranked second in the conference with 4.17 kills per set. Daria Robinson added nine kills of her own on Sunday's match against Hofstra, marking her 400th-career kill. 
• Freshman Courtnie Roberts led the Blue Hens in assists with 30 over the weekend. Abby Skryd posted 22 total over the weekend at home, ranking sixth in the conference with 6.26 assists per set. 
• Libero Maddie Judge posted team-high digs in both matches last weekend with 12 on Friday and 13 on Sunday. Sophomore Kori Rasmussen added 10 digs of her own on Sunday, reaching double figure digs for the first time since the season opener.
• The remainder of the Blue Hens' regular season play are all conference match-ups.
• Following Sunday's match, the Blue Hens will return home to play Towson on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Bob Carpenter Center.


• Delaware leads the all-time series with UNCW, 25-10, but the Seahawks have taken seven of the last nine matches versus the Blue Hens. UD defeated UNCW on their home court, 3-1, in their last meeting in 2016. The Seahawks have dropped their previous four conference matches. 
• Charleston leads Delaware, 10-3, in 13 all-time series meetings. The Blue Hens snapped the Cougars' 10 match winning streak in the series when they defeated them in their last meeting, 3-2, at the 2016 CAA Semifinals in Wilmington, N.C. The Cougars enter the week having won five of their last six contests.
• Delaware was picked sixth in the CAA Preseason Poll, while UNCW was selected seventh and Charleston was selected to win the conference title.
