THE WEEK THAT WAS: Delaware is coming off a 1-2 week, where a pair of games were postponed due to weather. This past weekend Delaware returned to Colonial Athletic Association play at Hofstra. After dropping the few two games of the series, Delaware rebounded nicely, dropping the Pride 5-2 (10 innings). The Hens, who overcame a 2-0 sixth inning deficit received a two-RBI single from Calvin Scott and a two-RBI triple from Erik Bowren. Freshman Billy Sullivan IV took the ball for Delaware, pitching the first four and two-thirds. The righty struck out eight and enjoyed a no-hitter for the first 4.2 innings. Senior James Meeker pitched the final five and one-third for the Blue Hens. The reliever earned his team-leading fourth (4-0) victory of the season.

BEHIND ENEMY LINES: Lehigh enters Wednesday’s LBC Semifinals with a record of 11-18. Overall this season, Lehigh is hitting .245. Chris Kersey leads the Mountain Hawks in average (.317), hits (34), doubles (10), runs scored (22) and on-base percentage (.413). James Bleming is second on the team with a .302 average. The senior shortstop leads Lehigh in stolen bases (8) and RBI (21). Lehigh will look to snap a six-game losing streak Tuesday against Lafayette.

FREE MEEK: Delaware reliever James Meeker is currently 4-0 with three saves. Meeker is one of just four relievers nationally to lead his team in both wins and saves. The righty lowed his ERA to 2.70 for the season.

LOOKING TO SNAP ANOTHER TITLE DROUGHT: Last May, Delaware made its first NCAA Regional since 2001. On Tuesday, the Blue Hens will play the Semifinals of the Liberty Bell Classic, looking for the programs first LBC Finals appearance since they last won the title in 2013. The Blue Hens have won the most LBC titles (8) in tournament history.

MIDWEEK MANIA: The Blue Hens are currently 3-0 in mid-week contests this season. The Hens went 4-4 a season ago in mid-week games. Delaware defeated Maryland 7-1 back on 3/8 and completed the series sweep with a 7-6 victory on 3/13. The Hens earned their third-midweek victory of the season at La Salle.
