NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware women’s swimming and diving program posted a pair of victories over Iona College (202-81) and St. Francis University (177-98) in Sunday afternoon’s senior day meet at Rawstrom Natatorium.

On Sunday, Delaware posted nine individual victories and a pair of relay top finishes over the Gales (3-4) and Flash (6-4). Top performances included junior Athena Cimino winning the 200 free (1:54.43) and the 500 free (5:09.16), freshman Audrey Duvall winning the 200 breaststroke (2:29.20) and Mina Feyrer winning both the 100 fly (57.73) and the 200 fly (2:08.33).

During one of the breaks in the action, the Blue Hens (5-6) honored senior captains Kristen Bishop and Sarah Braatz for their contributions to Delaware swimming.

Outside of the pool, freshman diver Holly Smith swept the 1M (221.02) and 3M (201.82) boards posting a season-best score on both boards.  

Delaware returns to competition Saturday, January 20 for a 10 a.m. meet at Colonial Athletic Association rival Towson.
