JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of Delaware women’s golf squad fired its lowest team round of the tournament on Tuesday as the Blue Hens moved up three spots to finish seventh at the UNF Collegiate.

Delaware, which carded a 294 score on Tuesday, finished in seventh place out of 17 teams with an 896 three-round total. Old Dominion captured the team title with an 864 score, followed by Chattanooga at 883 and Toledo at 886.

Blue Hen sophomore Ariane Klotz shot a three over par 75 on the par 72, 5,926-yard Jacksonville Golf & Country Club course, as she tied for sixth place with a one over par 71-71-75-217.

UD freshman Thitaree Sakulbunpanich carded the lowest round of the day by a Blue Hen with a two under par 70, tying for 16th place with a five over par score of 77-74-70-221. Valentina Mueller, who posted a one over par 73 on Tuesday, tied for 32nd place with a 10 over par 78-75-73-226.

Ashley Dingman tied for 48th place at the tournament with a 16 over par 79-77-76-232, while Isabella Rimton tied for 85th place with a 31 over par 83-84-80-247. Playing as an individual, Josefina Fernandez-Davila finished in 92nd place with a 50 over par 86-85-95-266.

Jiwon Jeon of Daytona State was the tournament medalist, as she carded a 14 under par 66-69-67-202 to post an eight-shot victory.

Delaware returns to action on Mar. 16-18 when the Blue Hens compete in the Clover Cup at Longbow Golf Course in Mesa, Ariz.
