NEWARK, Del. -- University of Delaware junior Lindsay Prettyman (at right) won her second individual title of the season and led the Blue Hen women’s cross country to its second team title in three weeks as UD dominated its own Delaware Invitational Saturday morning at White Clay Creek State Park.

Prettyman, who also won the season-opening Lehigh Invitational back on Aug. 31, captured the individual title again Saturday as she covered her six-kilometer home course in a time of 22:51.88 to outdistance teammate Nicole Daly by 11 seconds. Prettyman led nine Blue Hens in the top 10.

Delaware, which also captured the Lehigh Invitational earlier this year, won the Division I team title with 15 points, easily outdistancing runner-up Towson.

Gettysburg won the women’s Division II/III team title with 27 points followed by DeSales, Cairn, Stockton, Hood, Holy Family, Blooomfield, and Immaculata. Christine Esposito won the individual title with a time of 22:43.92.

Angel Rodriguez of Immaculata won the men’s individual title, covering the eight-kilometer course in 27:46.83.
