Frances “Fran” Ada Orella (o—REL—ia) • born November 29, 1994 in Flemington, N.J. • daughter of Annette and Chuck Orella • comes from a University of Delaware legacy family as both parents graduated from UD and older brother, Mike, is a senior majoring in Chemical Engineering • grandfather, Richard Murray, was also a physics professor, graduate office dean and Provost at Delaware • majoring in Mechanical Engineering and would like to work in the area of renewable energy upon graduation • enjoys volunteer work and competing in triathlons • favorite sports teams include the San Francisco 49ers and New Jersey Devils • chose UD because of its outstanding academics and family history.
