2016 SEASON
Appeared in five regattas with the Third Varsity Eights and one with the Second Varsity Eights for Delaware • helped the Third Varsity Eights finish second in its final at the Dad Vail Regatta and second at the Saint Joseph’s Invitational • the boat also finished fourth at the Lehigh Invitational and sixth in its heat at the Knecht Cup • member of the Second Varsity Eights crew that was fifth in its heat at the Murphy Cup.

2015 SEASON
Competed with the Third Varsity Eights boat during the season • helped lead the Third Varsity Eights to fifth place heat finishes in both the Murphy Cup and the Knecht Cup.

2014 SEASON
Member of crew that finished second in Second Novice Eights at quad meet with Drexel, Temple, and Lehigh • fifth place finish in Novice Eights competition at Murphy Cup Regatta • member of winning Novice Eights crew at Bucknell Quad Meet • finished in fourth place at Dad Vail Regatta • National 5 & 10 Athlete of the Week (May 11).

Attended Hertridge High School • played soccer, softball, and basketball all four years • All-Prep second team selection in softball in 2011

Lian Cancryn • born June 3, 1994 • daughter of Wayne and Dawn Cancryn • has an older brother, Adam • exercise science major at Delaware with a minor in strength and conditioning and psychology • enjoys playing intramural soccer • lists the Dallas Cowboys as her favorite team • has travelled to South America to give medical aid to poor communities.
