LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. -- The University of Delaware women’s golf team carded a 300 score on Tuesday as the Blue Hens moved up one spot to finish in eighth place out of 17 squads this week at the 36th Annual FIU Pat Bradley Invitational.

Delaware, which posted team rounds of 303 on Sunday and 296 on Monday, finished with a score of 899, the lowest three-round total in the program’s three-year history. Missouri captured the team title with an 873 score, while Daytona State finished second just one shot back at 874. The host Panthers came in third place at 876, Maryland finished fourth at 878, and Memphis rounded out the top five at 892.

Blue Hen junior Amanda Terzian carded an even par 72 on Tuesday on the par 72, 6,275-yard Cypress Links course at Lakewood Ranch Country Club, and tied for 16th place in the individual standings with a four over par 76-72-72-220.

Freshman Vitoria Teixeira fired the lowest round of her young Blue Hen career with a one over par 73 on Tuesday, tying for 22nd place with a seven over par score of 74-76-73-223. Junior Andi Slane recorded a nine over par 81 during her final round of the tournament, as she ended up in a tie for 34th place at 74-72-81-227, 11 over par.

Sophomore Vimonthip Benjasupawan, playing as an individual, carded a three over par 75 on Tuesday as she finished in a tie for 54th place with a 16 over par 80-77-75-232. Freshman Grace Chua, who fired a six over par 78 during her third round, tied for 58th place at 79-76-78-233, 17 over par.

UD sophomore Nathalie Filler recorded a five over par 77 during Tuesday’s final round, finishing 69th at the invitational with a 21 over par 80-80-77-237.

Coralia Arias of Florida International earned the tournament’s medalist honors after carding a six under par 69-72-69-210.

Delaware, which has finished among the top eight in all four of its 2013 fall tournaments, wraps up its fall season this Saturday and Sunday when the Blue Hens host the first annual Delaware Fall Invitational at Rehoboth Beach Country Club.
