WALLACE, N.C. -- The University of Delaware women’s golf team recorded a 321 score on Sunday to finish in 12th place out of 14 teams this weekend at the UNCW Seahawk Classic.

The Blue Hens, who recorded team scores of 312 and 317 on Saturday, placed 12th with a three-round total of 950. Old Dominion captured the team title with a 917 score, while Georgia State finished two shots back at 919. UNC Greensboro came in third place at 921, UNCW was fourth at 922, and Princeton rounded out the top five at 923.

Delaware sophomore Amanda Terzian (at right) carded a team-low seven over par 79 during Sunday’s round on the par 72, 6,106-yard River Landing Golf Course, as she finished in a tie for 31st place in the individual standings with a 20 over par 78-79-79-236. Freshman Vimonthip Benjasupawan carded an eight over par 80 during her final round, ending up in a tie for 34th place at 76-81-80-237, 21 over par.

Sophomore Baralee Theinthong, who fired a nine over par 81 on Sunday, finished in a tie for 42nd place with a 24 over par 79-80-81-240, while freshman Nathalie Filler also carded an 81 on Sunday as she tied for 48th place with a 26 over par 79-82-81-242.

Sophomore Annie Bowlsby recorded an 84 during her final round to tie for 54th place with a 31 over par 86-77-84-247 while senior Frida Nilsson, playing as an individual, also tied for 54th place at 31 over par after carding an 80 to end up at 79-88-80-247.

Fanny Cnops of UNC Greensboro captured medalist honors with a two over par 74-72-72-218, while Elizabeth Haycock of Old Dominion finished two shots behind with a four over par 77-73-70-220.

The Blue Hens will take next weekend off before closing out their 2012-13 regular season on Apr. 19-21 when Delaware competes in the Colonial Athletic Association Championships at St. James Plantation in Southport, N.C.
