NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. -- The University of Delaware women’s golf team posted a 350 team score during Saturday’s first round at the Purdue Mount Vintage Invitational and sits in sixth place in the team standings.

Iowa State leads the field with a 305 score following the first round, while Coastal Carolina is one shot back at 306. The host Boilermakers are third at 313, followed by Augusta State at 215, IUPUI at 330, and the Blue Hens.

Two rounds were scheduled for Saturday, but the second round of the day was suspended due to darkness. The second round will be completed Sunday morning, followed by the third and final round.

Vimonthip Benjasupawan (at right), Amanda Terzian, and Nathalie Filler are each tied for 28th place in the individual standings as all three players carded a 15 over par 87 during their opening round. Frida Nilsson fired a 17 over par 89 to finish in 33rd place, while Kayleigh Reed is 35th after carding a 98, 26 over par.
