One of the team's biggest surprises as a redshirt freshman as he became a weapon with his consistently booming and timely punts • enjoyed the best season punting of any player in Delaware history and was among the nation's top punters • earned honorable mention All-American honors by College Sporting News; second team Freshman All-American honors by Phil Steele Football; second team Freshman All-American honors by College Sports Journal, and second team All-CAA honors • named to the CAA Academic Honor Roll • led all CAA punters and ranked No. 3 in the NCAA in punting average with an astounding school-record mark of 45.0-yard average, breaking the previous UD record of 42.8 by Gene Vadas in 1991 • 45.0 mark was the best for a CAA punter since 2008 • punted 60 times for 2,701 yards and had 20 punts land inside the 20-yard line (No. 2 in CAA), 12 were fair caught, and 22 went for 50 or more yards (No. 1 in CAA - nine more than the second place finisher) • season-long 69-yard punt at Rhode Island was the 10th longest punt in UD history • also had a 68-yarder vs. Villanova and a 61-yarder vs. William & Mary • had at least one 50-yard punt in all but three games • averaged over 48.4 yards per punt in a game four times, including 49.0 average vs. Richmond (5 for 245 yards), 48.7 vs. Villanova (7-341), 48.6 vs. Maine (8-389), and 48.4 vs. William & Mary (9-436) • Blue Hen Touchdown Club Special Teams Player of the Week vs. Maine, Rhode Island, and Villanova • helped Delaware rank No. 2 in the NCAA in team net punting (41.47).

2012 SEASON
Served as a backup kicker and punter but did not see game action and retained freshman eligibility • earned a spot on the CAA Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL
Enjoyed an outstanding career as a placekicker, punter, and quarterback for head coach Stan Sexton at Phoebus High School • three-year starter • one of the top kickers in the state • earned All-State, All-region, and All-district squads all three seasons as a kicker and punter • led team to a 13-2 record and No. 6 ranking in the state in 2011 when the team won its fourth straight state title • threw a 50-yard touchdown pass in the state title game to put Phoebus up for good • team won 45 straight games at one point during his career • also played soccer for three varsity seasons and was a member of the swimming team as a sophomore • three-year starter on defense in soccer • earned honorable mention all-league honors in soccer as a junior • National Honor Society student • served as vice president of National Honor Society, earned Math Honor Society honors, and earned straight A's as a senior.
