NEWARK, Del. -- It will be a day filled with family fun and football at Delaware Stadium Saturday when the University of Delaware hosts its annual Fandemonium V and Blue-White Football Spring Game.

Kids of all ages and all Delaware fans are invited to come out and enjoy a full day of food, fun, and the annual spring game. Fandemonium V will begin at 10 a.m. with the football spring game set to start at 12 noon.

Following the game, members of the Delaware football squad will sign autographs under the west concourse of Delaware Stadium.

[9 a.m.] University of Delaware Volleyball Spring Fling

Join Blue Hens Volleyball and the local volleyball community at the UD Athletics Complex as they host their annual grass volleyball tournament event.  Divisions are available for all levels of play.  All teams are guaranteed three (3) competitions.  For full tournament details click here.

[10 a.m.] Fan Zone Programming Begins

See below for all of the Fan Zone entertainment details and programming located in front of the west main entrance of Delaware Stadium. This area will be closed to vehicular traffic. The Delaware Beer Garden will be open for fans to enjoy cold beverages before the spring game. Fans must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID to purchase.

  • Live Music Entertainment ft. the Mason Dixon Band and DJ Andrew Hugh
  • FREE sampling from your favorite food partners
  • Interactive mini-golf instruction with UD Women's Golf

  • Blue Hens giveaways at the Guest Relations kiosk in the Fan Zone to the first fans that check-in - including mini football pennants, spirit buttons and t-shirts (subject to availability)

  • Photo Opportunity with your favorite YoUDee mascot and UD Dance team members
  • Blue Hens Bounce House and face painting compliments of the Future Hens Club
  • Interactive Skill Games with members of the UD Club Teams
  • UDairy Creamery and food available for purchase and official Blue Hens merchandise for sale by the UD Bookstore

[10 a.m. to 12 p.m.]

The University of Delaware will be hosting its 2nd annual Select-A-Seat event at Delaware Stadium on Saturday, May 3. The event will be held in conjunction with Blue Hens Fandemonium V featuring the annual Delaware Football Spring Game.

Patrons looking to purchase new season tickets, along with current season ticket holders looking for additional upgrades, relocations or wishing to add additional seats will be able to do so from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. inside of Delaware Stadium. This will be the first time that new season tickets are available to the general public as the official on-sale date through the Delaware Ticket Office will be Monday, May 5.

Select seats will be tagged for fans that want to upgrade, switch sections or purchase season tickets. Ticket Office staff members will be available at the stadium to answer any questions and assist anyone looking to purchase tickets.

How to purchase: If you would like to purchase new tickets or relocate existing tickets, remove the tag on the seat(s) you would like and bring to the Ticket Services kiosk located on the sideline in the southwest corner of the stadium and a ticket representative will assist you.

If you are UD Alumni, ticket specials (limit 4) will also be available in Section A for only $99! Please let the ticket representative know that you are UD alumni at the time of purchase.

[10 a.m.] DE Athletic Trainers Association 5K Run/1 Mile Walk Begins

Proceeds from the event will help support the Delaware Athletic Trainers’ Association’s mission to support programs dedicated to the safety of student-athletes, educate the public on the profession of Athletic Training, and provide athletic training students in Delaware with leadership opportunities.

Advance registration by April 16 will include a race t-shirt.  Day of registration will be from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.  For details on the race click here.

[12 p.m.] Blue Hens Football Spring Game

Be there as Delaware Football takes the field for the annual Spring Game at Delaware Stadium.

Halftime will include special recognitions of both the National Champion Club Figure Skating Team, and the 2014 NCAA Tournament participant and CAA Champion Men's Basketball Team.

All young blue hens are also invited to stick around postgame on the concourse for an autograph session with the entire 2014 Football team.
