NEWARK, Del. -- It will be a day filled with family fun, food, and football Saturday (May 4) when the University of Delaware hosts Fandemonium IV sponsored by bPay and Dunkin' Donuts, and the annual Blue-White Football Scrimmage beginning at 11 a.m. at Delaware Stadium.

Always one of the most anticipated days of the year at the UD athletics complex, Fandemonium IV will begin at 11 a.m. on the field in front of Delaware Stadium and last until 1 p.m. The annual Blue-White scrimmage, under the direction of first-year head coach Dave Brock, will follow at 1 p.m. and last for approximately 90 minutes.

In addition to Fandemonium and football, the Delaware softball team will be taking on Colonial Athletic Association foe UNCW at 12 noon at the UD Softball Stadium and the Blue Hen baseball squad will host La Salle at 1 p.m. at Bob Hannah Stadium.

All events are free and open to kids and adults of all ages.

The first 2,000 fans who enter Delaware Stadium for the spring game will receive a free Spring Football poster. Following the scrimmage, members of the 2013 Blue Hen football team will sign autographs for fans under the stands on the west concourse.
