Gameday Happenings – Delaware vs. James Madison
Traffic & Parking:  Season and single game parking lots open 4 hours prior to kickoff.  Single game parking is available for $15.  Season passes must be displayed at all times and patrons must enter through the Entrance indicated on their parking pass.

Due to enhancements from construction around the stadium, The Woods Lot, located off of Route 4 will be used as staff parking. PLEASE NOTE THAT PATRON PARKING IN THIS LOT WILL BE LIMITED TO TWO HOURS BEFORE KICKOFF, AND BASED ON AVAILABILITY. This is a change from last year and applies ONLY to the Woods Parking Lot.

UD Athletic Ticket Office Opens at Delaware Stadium Main Gate:  Saturday, 5 p.m.

Gates Open At Delaware Stadium: Saturday, 5 p.m.

Team Walk: Saturday at 4:30 p.m.  Join us to greet members of the Blue Hens Football squad during pre-game as they march down Stadium Drive escorted by the Delaware Marching Band, Cheerleaders, and Spirit Groups to the locker room. The walk will begin approximately two and a half hours before kickoff each game in front of the Delaware Field House.  This week’s Team Walk will be led by members of the 2003 National Championship UD Football team!

Blue Hens Fan Zone: Saturday, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Adjacent to Bob Carpenter Center and Hospitality Village
Family friendly fun zone!  Live entertainment on the Delaware Lottery Stage by local favorite Goodman Fiske.  The Fan Zone is full of good times on the inflatables and interactives, including the UDairy Creamery Moo Mobile on-site during pregame selling the Blue Hens' favorite ice cream! 

The Coors Light Coop: Saturday, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Located just north of the Delaware Stadium West Main Gate Entrance
Special hospitality area for our guests 21 and over where they are invited to stop by and purchase adult beverages and snacks while catching live college gameday broadcasts.  Must be 21 and over for entry and must present valid photo ID and paid game ticket.

Student Entrance Programming: SCPAB and the Marines Chin-Up Challenge.

UD Student Entrance: UD students should enter through the southwest corner of the stadium.  No ticket is needed, only a valid UD id.  One admission per eligible student.  Buses will run pre-game through kick-off from the following locations:  Rodney/Dickinson, Laird, and Perkins Student Center.

UD Student Giveaway: Blue and yellow spirit sticks will be distributed by athletics marketing to the first 1,000 students in attendance as they enter the Cockpit.  Exclusively for students seated in the student section for the first CAA matchup of the season.

Guest Relations: Guest Relations kiosks are located outside of Delaware Stadium on the West and East sides of Delaware Stadium beginning two hours pre-game through kick-off.  The main Guest Relations kiosk is located directly inside the West Entrance of Delaware Stadium and is open two hours prior to kick-off through the conclusion of the game.  Lost and found items, the lost parents program and emergency re-entry along with other general fan inquiries are all handled at the main kiosk inside the Stadium.

Take a Kid to the Game (TAKG):  The national NCAA Football TAKG program provides an opportunity for community outreach as it introduces area youth to UD Athletics. Its purpose is to encourage adults to take children to collegiate sporting events, inspiring them to pursue higher education opportunities.  To do so, UD is offering one free youth ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket to support this program. Tickets can be purchased in-person in advance or on gameday. All tickets are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

Youth Football Day:  All youth football and youth football cheer teams of Delaware (8th grade & younger only) were invited to attend at a discounted rate.  Pregame field access will be granted to those teams that participated are in their game jersey or cheer uniform to form the tunnel with the UD Marching Band before the Blue Hens take the field. 

High School Team Day:  All Delaware high school football teams were personally invited by Coach Brock to receive complimentary admission as a team via a pass list through compliance.  Advance registration was required and closed. 

UD Football Alumni Day: All Delaware Football alumni were invited back to Delaware Stadium to receive free admission for themselves and one guest.

Season Ticket Holder Giveaway – If you missed us at the first three games, please visit the main Guest Relations kiosk inside Delaware Stadium near the west main gate entrance and show your Season Ticket Holder Benefits card to receive a complimentary football pop-up helmet with key fob schedule item for your use this season. 

Hospitality Village (located at corner of 896 and route 4 in front of BCC addition)UD President’s Office, UD Basketball, UD College of Earth, Ocean, & Environment, KPMG, and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Concessions Specials:  Season ticket holders are encouraged to show their Season Ticket Holder Benefits Card at concession stand locations for an exclusive 10% discount on their purchase (excludes Grotto’s, Chick-fil-A and alcohol sales)

Draft Beers of Delaware: New this year!  UDAF members, Delaware Diamonds Society members, and Premium Box Seat Ticket Holders are invited to two new in-stadium locations offering the purchase of Delaware brewed beers.  Guests must be 21 and older and sales will conclude at the start of the 4th quarter.  Sales are located in the north west corner of the Stadium as well as the south east corner of the Stadium.

Visiting Team Guests: Guests whose names have been left on a pass list from the visiting school and/or who need to pick up tickets purchased directly through the visiting school, should do so at the East Box Office on the East side of Delaware Stadium.

UD Player Guests/HS Coaches/Non-Football Recruits/Spirit Guests: Should enter through the pass gate on the west side of Delaware Stadium adjacent to the Delaware Stadium Box Office

UD Football Recruits: Should enter through the main entrance of the Bob Carpenter Center and meet designated staff on the 2nd floor of the building immediately at the top of the stairs.

Halftime In-Stadium:
Join us in recognizing the 2003 National Champion University of Delaware football team at the beginning of halftime, 10 years after their memorable victory.  Following the team recognition, enjoy the special halftime performance of 71 youth twirlers joining the UD Marching Band. 

Postgame In-Stadium: 
After singing the alma mater with the football team, remain in the stands for the postgame band show featuring the University of Delaware Marching Band.

Seatback Rentals: Seatback rentals may be purchased on gameday immediately inside the East and West main entrances.  They are $6 per seat and are cash only on gameday.

Stadium Policies: As a reminder, items not allowed at Delaware Stadium include outside alcohol, aluminum cans, artificial noisemakers, coolers/ice chests/thermoses, fireworks, glass bottles, large backpacks/bags, large stadium seats, outside food or drink, projectiles of any sort, umbrellas (ponchos are recommended), weapons.

Patrons are permitted to bring in one unopened bottle of water per guest. In order to ensure the safety of our guests. all bags will be checked as patrons enter the facility. Please plan accordingly as long lines may exist.

Delaware Stadium has a No Re-Entry policy. Patrons experiencing an emergency or who must exit for medical reasons may go to the main Guest Relations kiosk inside the Stadium on the West side for assistance.

Tailgating: Patrons may tailgate beginning 4 hours prior to kickoff and may resume post game for up to two hours after the conclusion of the game. Tailgates must be limited to the immediate space behind the patron's vehicle and driveways must be kept clear at all times. For information on Blue Hens Hospitality packages, call 302-831-2257.
