NEWARK, Del. -- University of Delaware men’s golf Mike Keogh has announced that Blue Hen rising seniors Fraser Graham and Niño Rosal, along with junior Kyle Martin, have been named team captains for the 2014-15 season.

Graham, a native of Princeton, N.J. (Princeton HS), recently completed his third season as a member of the Blue Hens. He appeared in all but one invitational for Delaware during the year, ranking fourth on the team with a 78.28 average round. Graham was the Blue Hens’ top finisher at the Joe Agee Invitational, while his second round 68 at the Villanova Wildcat Invitational was the lowest round by a UD player during the season.

Rosal, a native of Dover, Del. (Caesar Rodney), will be serving as team captain for the second consecutive year. Rosal competed in all but two tournaments during the 2013-14 campaign, while he carded a team-best 74.92 shots per round during the five fall invitationals. He led Delaware by finishing 20th at the George Mason Patriot Intercollegiate, where he fired a season low 71 during the final round.

Martin, an Ambler, Pa. native (Christopher Dock), was one of two Blue Hens to appear in all 11 tournaments during the year, when he led the team with a 76.52 average round. Martin was Delaware’s top finisher at the Navy Fall Classic, UNCW Seahawk Intercollegiate and Navy Spring Invitational, finishing in 12th place at the Navy Fall Classic with a season-low second round 70.

“With four incoming freshmen joining the program, we decided to name three captains for next year,” Keogh said. “All three guys are high-character kids who will be instrumental in helping the new players get acclimated to Delaware.”
