PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- University of Delaware men’s golf incoming freshman Eric Dulik sits in second place following Sunday’s second round of the prestigious 2014 Optimist International Junior Golf Championships.

Dulik, a native of Great Falls, Va., is second in the Boys 16-18 tournament, which runs through Tuesday. Through the first two rounds he is second out of 129 golfers at the tournament, one of the largest and best known junior golf tournaments in the world.

Dulik fired an impressive seven under par 65 during Saturday’s opening round at the PGA National Resort & Spa. He then carded a three over par 75 during his second round, ending Sunday’s action at four under par.

Dulik posted eight birdies during his first round of the tournament, and added 15 pars while making just three bogeys on Sunday.
