POWELLS POINT, N.C. -- University of Delaware senior Dan Costenbader carded a season-low round of 70 and is tied for second place in the individual standings while the Blue Hens are tied for 13th in the team standings following the first day of the ODU Outer Banks Intercollegiate.

Costenbader fired a one under par 34-36-70 on the par 71, 6,550-yard Kilmarlic Golf Course to end Sunday’s round tied for second place. Logan Lagodich of Marshall leads the field with a two under par 69, while Costenbader is one of seven players just one shot back.

UD junior Niño Rosal recoded a six over par 38-39-77 to end the day tied for 52nd place, while junior Fraser Graham is tied for 70th place following his nine over par round of 41-39-80.

Sophomore Kyle Martin carded a 10 over par 38-43-81 to conclude the day tied for 79th place, while freshman Marc Oliveri fired a 14 over par 46-39-85 to finish Sunday’s action tied for 89th place.

The Blue Hens posted a 308 team score on the day to end the round tied for 13th out of 18 squads.

Elon leads the field with a 286 score, while Radford is three shots back. The three-day invitational continues with the second round on Monday, followed by Tuesday’s third and final round.
