WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- The University of Delaware men’s golf team posted a 307 score for the second straight day on Tuesday as the Blue Hens finished in 24th place at the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary.

Delaware finished with a three-round total of 924, placing 24th out of 27 teams at the three-day invitational. Texas Tech claimed the team title with an 851 score, while UNC Greensboro finished second at 864 while Radford was third at 865.

Blue Hen senior Dan Costenbader fired a five over par 75 on Tuesday on the par 70, 6,765-yard River Course at Kingsmill Resort, as he tied for 62nd place in the individual standings with a 16 over par 74-77-75-226. Costenbader made an impressive five birdies during his final round, while also adding six pars on the day.

UD sophomore Kyle Martin carded a nine over par 79 during Tuesday’s round, as he finished with a 22 over par score of 76-77-79-232 to finish in a tie for 96th place. Martin made birdies on the seventh and 13th holes during the final round, while adding nine pars.

Fellow sophomore Colin McKenna shot a seven over par 77 during his final round of the tournament, also tying for 96th place at 79-76-77-232, 22 over par. McKenna posted his lone birdie of the day on five, while he also made 12 pars.

Freshman Marc Oliveri carded a six over par 76 on Tuesday, finishing tied for 117th place with a 27 over par 84-77-76-237. Junior Fraser Graham shot a nine over par 79 which included a birdie on seven, as he tied for 127th at 81-81-79-241, 31 over par.

Clement Sordet of Texas Tech earned medalist honors by carding a two under par 71-67-70-208, holding off two players by one shot.

Delaware returns to action next Monday and Tuesday when the Blue Hens compete in the Villanova Wildcat Invitational at White Manor Country Club in Malvern, Pa.
