NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware men’s golf team will compete in five tournaments this fall as the Blue Hens released their 2014 fall schedule on Thursday.

Delaware, led by 14th year head coach Mike Keogh, will open its campaign on Sept. 6-7 at the Navy Fall Classic in Annapolis, Md. The Blue Hens will be competing in that invitational for the 14th consecutive year.

Following a week off Delaware will head to Ithaca, N.Y. to participate in the Cornell Fall Invitational on Sept. 20-21, before competing in the George Mason Patriot Intercollegiate in Lorton, Va. on Sept. 28-29.

The Blue Hens will participate in the Binghamton Fall Invitational for the second consecutive year, heading to Apalachin, N.Y. on Oct. 5-6. Delaware closes its fall season once against at the Old Dominion/Kilmarlic College Invitational, which takes place in Nags Head, N.C. on Oct. 19-21.

Following a three-month break, the Blue Hens will play their first ever tournament in the month of January when they compete in the Arizona Intercollegiate on Jan. 26-27 in Tucson, Ariz.

UD posted five top-10 finishes during the 2013-14 campaign, including fifth place finishes at the Navy Fall Classic and Villanova Wildcat Invitational.

Rising junior Kyle Martin paced the Blue Hens by averaging 76.52 shots per round, while classmate Colin McKenna averaged 77.69 shots during the spring season.
