Delaware also received a victory from sophomore Tim Puterio (Kingston, R.I.) as he collected a 6-3, 6-4 win over Niels Kathol in the fifth flight.

The two teams began doubles play following the completion of singles action, but were unable to finish due to lightning and rain.

Head Coach Laura Travis
“It is unfortunate that we couldn’t complete doubles play due to lightning and rain.  We are glad that we were able to get the singles matches complete as it gives us another opportunity to improve before the CAA Championships.”
