ELKTON, Md. – The University of Delaware women's tennis team posted a 5-0 non-league victory over Mt. St. Mary's Saturday night at the Elkton Indoor Tennis Courts.

The match was moved from the Delaware Field House Courts to Elkton due to poor weather conditions.

The Blue Hens (6-2) won all five matches in a shortened match due to limited available courts.

Delaware opened the match with the doubles team of Christina Harrington and Nataliya Naumova posting a 7-5, 6-1 win over Mount St. Mary's team of Liz Rossi and Jenny Smith.

The Hens followed with four victories in singles, including three in straight sets. Danea Jonjic downed Kelly Conroy 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1, Dorothy Safron downed Sam Pinchoff 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2, Carmen Lai upended Renee Deane 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3, and Olivia Heim battled for a 6-2, 4-6, 10-8 win over Carly Landini at No. 4.
