NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware volleyball team will look to get back into the win column this weekend when the Blue Hens travel south to face William & Mary and James Madison in a pair of Colonial Athletic Association matches.

Delaware will take on the Tribe Friday at 7 p.m. in Kaplan Arena and the Dukes Sunday at 1 p.m. in Sinclair Gymnasium.

Delaware is 9-8 overall and 1-2 in league play after falling to Northeastern and Hofstra at the Bob Carpenter Center last weekend. William & Mary is 6-13 this season while James Madison is 6-10 on the year, while all three squads have won one of their first three conference matches.

The Blue Hens attack is paced by sophomore Katie Hillman, who has posted 220 kills and ranks third in the CAA with 3.33 kills per set. Sophomore Mackenzie Olsen leads the league with 9.62 assists per set, while redshirt sophomore Jill Meyers is fourth with 1.11 blocks per set.

UD sophomore Ariel Shonk, who ranks second in the conference and 18th in Division I by averaging 5.27 digs per set, needs just 33 digs this weekend to surpass the 1,000-dig mark for her career.

Mallory Brickerd leads William & Mary with 182 kills this season, while Liz Brown has added 170 while leading the Tribe with 3.15 kills per set and a .253 hitting percentage. Paige Lucas ranks second in the CAA with 9.28 assists while Paulette Grand Pre is third with 4.28 digs per set for William & Mary, while leads the conference with 16.72 digs per set.

The Dukes are paced by Janey Goodman, who leads the team with 207 kills and 3.09 kills per set, good for sixth in the CAA. Lizzy Briones is fifth in the conference with a .297 hitting percentage and 1.27 blocks per set, while Kristi Robinson ranks third in the league with 8.63 assists per set.

Delaware has taken seven consecutive matches over William & Mary and has won each of its last five contests at Kaplan Hall, while the Blue Hens have captured 10 of the last 12 meetings with James Madison since the start of the 2007 season.
