Come out to witness thrilling NCAA Division I action and cheer on the top program in the Colonial Athletic Association as the two-time defending champion Blue Hens play all of their home games for the first time at the 5,000-seat Bob Carpenter Center.
Season tickets are on sale now by calling 302-831-2257 or by visiting the UD Season Ticket Office in its new home at the Bob Carpenter Center.
Ticket prices are $75 for reserved courtside seating, $45 for adult general admissions seating, and $30 for general admission seating for youths 17 and under and for seniors 60 and older. Based on the single match price, fans can save $93 on courtside seating, $53 for adults general admission seats, and $30 for juniors and seniors general admission seats.
Delaware head coach Bonnie Kenny, who will enter her 11th season at the helm this fall, has led the Blue Hens to a dominating streak in the CAA. The Hens have won a share of five straight CAA regular season titles, captured CAA Tournament crowns in 2007, 2008, 2010, and 2011, and advanced to the NCAA Tournament four times, winning first round games in 2007 and 2011. Eight letterwinners will return from last season’s 21-13 squad, including All-CAA hitters Alissa Alker and Chelsea Lawrence.
In addition to season tickets, families can also purchase a discounted ticket package to designated Friday Blue Hens volleyball matches this season. The Family Fun Friday $15 ticket deal includes admission for two adults and two youth (17 & Under) to one match played on either Sept. 7 vs. Columbia, Sept. 7 vs. Texas A&M, Oct. 19 vs. Northeastern, or Oct. 26 vs. Towson – a savings of almost 40 percent off the gameday price.
Group tickets are also available this season for discounted prices of $4 (groups of 20-49 people) and $2 (groups of 50 or more).
Delaware is also offering a single-match Hens High Five Tunnel Package for $135, which includes 30 games tickets for the group, the opportunity to purchase additional tickets at the discounted rate of $4, recognition of the group with a public address announcement, and a group picture forming the tunnel.
The Blue Hens will play 14 home games this season beginning with the annual Delaware Invitational on Sept. 7-8 as Delaware will play host to Texas A&M, Xavier, and Columbia.
