NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware baseball team’s game against Delaware St. Wednesday has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up Thursday, May 1 at 3 p.m. at Bob Hannah Stadium.

The Blue Hens (20-21) and Hornets (24-13) were originally scheduled to play at Delaware St. on March 5, but the game was also postponed because of inclement weather.

Delaware is coming off a 9-3 loss to Wilmington (Del.), while Delaware St. defeated Norfolk St. 16-8 in its last game.

This will be the 48th meeting between the two in-state rivals. Their first matchup was in 1993 and Delaware leads the all-time series against Delaware St. 37-10, but have lost three of the last four games to the Hornets.
