NEWARK, Del. -- In conjunction with this year’s Women's Health Awareness game at the University of Delaware women’s basketball game on Sunday, Feb. 16, UD Athletics is celebrating women who have shown unparalleled bravery and strength while personally battling illness.

Are you or someone you know currently showing or have shown courage in the face of health adversity?  In recognition of the importance of preventative care and awareness of all of the potential health issues facing the women we love today, we want to invite you and/or the heroic women you know, to participate in the halftime ‘Parade of Survivors’ to pay tribute to the strength and fight against disease that have empowered and inspired others.

To stand proud on-court as a survivor in front of your families, friends, neighbors and fellow Blue Hens, visit to complete the online participation form by Friday, Feb. 7.

‘Parade of Survivor’ Participants will receive one (1) free complimentary game ticket to attend. Additional tickets can be purchased for as low as $5.
