BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- The University of Delaware men's lacrosse team, fresh off back-to-back home victories over Villanova and Lafayette this past week, will look to keep those winning ways alive as the Blue Hens hit the road to take on Binghamton Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Bearcats Sports Complex.

Delaware, which received votes in this week's Warrior media poll, will hit the road for just the second time this season and for the first time since dropping a tough 6-4 decision to then No. 15 Bucknell back on Feb. 8.

The Blue Hens (3-2) have won three straight - all at home - with wins of 15-5 over Mt. St. Mary's on Feb. 22, 11-9 over Villanova last Saturday, and 9-6 over Lafayette on Tuesday. A win vs. Binghamton would give Delaware its longest win streak since a four-gamer during the 2010 NCAA Tournament season.

The game will also feature the 600th all-time coaching appearance by Delaware head coach Bob Shillinglaw, who is 314-285 in his 39th season overall. No coach in the history of men's lacrosse has coached that many games.

Delaware is led offensively by Brian Kormondy (eight goals), Logan Aunon (eight goals), and Jackson Finigan (four goals and a team-high five assists) and defensively by James Connelly, Brandon Worrall, and goalkeeper Conor Peaks. Peaks recorded 16 saves in the win over Villanova and 11 more against Lafayette.

Junior Tyler Barbarich is among the national leaders in faceoffs, winning 69.5 percent of his 95 attempts and scooping up a team-high 37 groundballs. Over the last three games, Barbarich has won an incredible 41 of 57 attempts (72 percent).

Binghamton (2-2) is coming off an 11-10 overtime win over Hobart last Saturday and also has a victory over Sacred Heart (8-6) on its slate. The Bearcats' losses have come at the hands of Siena (13-9) and Cornell (13-9)
