HEN SCRATCHINGS
      · The Blue Hens won their seventh straight home contest Wednesday with a 17-3 victory over Virginia Tech.  Delaware held the Hokies scoreless in the second half en route to its largest margin of victory in four years under head coach Kateri Linville and the most since a 21-4 victory over Villanova in 2005.
      · Casey Lyons has netted five goals in each of the last three games.  The sophomore is the first UD player to score at least five goals in three consecutive games since All-American Missy Meharg scored five, seven and six goals, respectively, against Virginia, West Chester and Princeton to close out the 1986 regular season.
      · Lyons has tallied a total of 18 points in the last three contests.
      · Delaware has won three straight games.
      · The Blue Hens have outscored their last three opponents, 46-18.
      · Caitlin McCartney has scored a point in 36 straight games.
      · Chelsea Fay has tallied at least one goal in 33 consecutive games and sits with 98 for her career.
      · Junior Alex Zaugra and senior Tori Zorovich have split time between the pipes this season.  Zaugra has registered 23 saves with a 10.38 goals allowed averaged in 191 minutes while Zorovich holds a 7.59 goals against average with 21 saves in 229 minutes of action.

SERIES INFORMATION
      · Temple leads the all-time series between the two programs, 17-13.
      · Delaware has won seven of the last eight contests against the Owls.
      · Last season, the Blue Hens picked up a 15-11 win over Temple in Newark.
      · UD is 5-10 against TU in Philadelphia.

THE COACHES
      · Delaware head coach Kateri Linville is in her fourth season with her alma mater and currently holds a career record of 27-30.
      · Bonnie Rosen is in her eighth season at the helm of the Temple women’s lacrosse program.  A 2010 US Lacrosse Hall of Fame inductee, Rosen has led the Owls to an overall record of 57-70 while posting a career mark of 125-151 in 18 seasons.

ABOUT TEMPLE
The Owls are off to a 2-4 start to the season and are led by senior Jaymie Tabor, who ranks second in the BIG EAST with 14 goals (2.8 per game).  Temple has played its last three of four games on the road, most recently including losses at Colorado and Denver.  The Owls field 20 underclassmen as they embark on their first season as an associate member of the BIG EAST.
