NEWARK, Del.  -- The five champions of the 2013 University of Delaware Intramural Flag Football Championships were crowned Monday night under the lights at Delaware Stadium.

Championship games were played in five divisions - Men’s White, Co-Ed White, Men’s Gold, Co-Ed Gold, and Fraternity.  Each team champion received a t-shirt for their accomplishment.

In the Men’s White Championship, What does the Fox Say (below) beat Durham Bullers by a 39-6 score. Game Most Valuable Player Eric Galko led the way with three touchdown passes and also ran for another.

In the Co-Ed White Championship game, Milk and Cookies (below) defeated Champion Ball Catchers, 19-9. Male MVP Joey Tomic threw for one touchdown and ran for another while  Female MVP Amanda Tourk had one touchdown pass and caught another.  

In the Men’s Gold Championship contests, Team (below) beat Delta Uno 25-24 thanks to a goal-line stand in the closing seconds.  Game MVP was Thomas Davis, who threw three touchdown passes.

In the Co-Ed Gold Championship, Eligibility Exhausted (below) claimed its second straight intramural title as it downed Breesus Christ Superstar, 35-18.  Male MVP Danny Neeson had two touchdown receptions while Female MVP Lauren Carra contributed a touchdown pass and a scoring reception.  

In the final game of the night, Sigma Pi (below) beat Zeta Beta Tau for the second year in a row with a 14-6 win in the Fraternity Championship.  Game MVP was Doug Blum, who converted two touchdown passes to lead the way.
