Adam Jines joined the University of Delaware in October 2010 initially as coordinator of intramural sports.

 Now, as current assistant director of recreation services, Jines directs and manages a comprehensive intramural program with over 26 sports and serving over 5,000 students. His responsibilities include research and assessment, risk management, lifeguard oversight, staff training, policy, and emergency response.

 Jines arrived in Newark after spending two years as coordinator of intramural sports at the University of Louisville, where he lead the training of over 70 student employees and directly supervised and developed the leadership skills of 6 undergraduate assistants.

 This is the second stop in Newark for Jines, who also served as graduate assistant of intramural sports from 2006-08 at Delaware while he earned his Master’s of Science in Health Promotion.

 Jines graduated from the State University of New York at Cortland as an Education major with a concentration in Physical Education in 2005.
