Pregame Team Walk (2.5 hours before kick-off)

Join us to greet members of the Blue Hens Football squad during pre-game as they march down Stadium Drive escorted by the Delaware Marching Band, Cheerleaders, and Spirit Groups to the locker room. The walk will begin approximately two and a half hours before kickoff each game in front of the Delaware Field House. 

Fan Zone (2 hours before kick-off)

NEW LOCATION! The Blue Hens Fan Zone opens two hours prior to kick-off and is located in front of the Bob Carpenter Center adjacent to Hospitality Village.  Enjoy live music, inflatable games, face painting, giveaways and much more.

Coors Light Coop (2 hours before kick-off)

Located west of the main gate entrance of Delaware Stadium, enjoy pregame beverages, food and NCAA football gameday coverage while socializing with fellow Blue Hen football fans in The Coors Light Coop this season. Opens 2 hours prior to kick-off, with last call 15 minutes prior to kick-off.Must be at least 21 years of age AND have purchased a paid game ticket to enter this designated area. Valid photo ID with your birthdate will be required for entry.

Craft Beers of Delaware (In-Stadium)

NEW! UDAF members, Delaware Diamonds Society members, and Premium Box Seat Ticket Holders are invited to two new in-stadium locations offering the purchase of Delaware brewed beers.  Guests must be 21 and older and sales will conclude at the start of the 4th quarter.  Sales are located in the north west corner of the Stadium as well as the south east corner of the Stadium.

Accessible Seating

Accessible seating is located in the west grandstands and the south end zone (in front of the student section). You may call the Delaware Ticket Office at (302) 831-2257 to request accessible seating in advance. Availability is limited and is handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Advance Tickets

Guests can purchase tickets to upcoming events via www.BlueHens.com/tickets or by calling the Delaware Ticket Office at 302-831-2257. On gameday, guests can purchase tickets at the Delaware Stadium Box Office on the west side. Ticket windows remain open throughout the first half.

Aisle Policy

Standing or sitting in aisles or stairs is not permitted. Guests will be asked to return to their seats.

Alcohol

Outside alcohol is not permitted inside Delaware Stadium.

Animals

Certified service animals or service animals in training are welcome.

ATM

An ATM will be located on BOTH the west and east side of the stadium for patron use.

Autographs

Special appearances by Blue Hens student-athletes will be scheduled throughout the season during pregame in the Fan Zone when time and NCAA regulations permit.

Baby Changing Table Stations

Located in Northeast and west women's restrooms.

Bags/Backpacks

All bags/backpacks smaller than 16" x 16" x 8" are permitted into the stadium. Bags and containers are subject to inspection by gate security prior to entering the facilities. Hard-sided coolers and bags or backpacks with metal frames are not allowed.

Beach Balls

Beach balls, baseballs, Frisbees, footballs or any other objects cannot be thrown inside athletic venues. Large inflatable objects are also prohibited.

Bicycle Parking

Bicycle stands are available for use by guests and are located outside the Bob Carpenter Center north entrance.

Bob Carpenter Club

University donors at the $1000 level and above may present their Diamond Society card and purchased game ticket at the North entrance to the Bob Carpenter Center for access for themselves and up to three additional guests to the Club throughout the event, including pre-game and halftime. Food and beverage are available for purchase in the Club as well as access to restrooms. The club opens one and a half hours prior to kick-off.

Cameras and Camcorders

Still cameras are welcome. Guests are asked to avoid standing in the aisles while using equipment, obstructing the views of others, or using tripods or monopods. Video and photography of Delaware Stadium and performers cannot be used commercially without written permission. We reserve the right to request that guests discontinue taking pictures on facility property.

Cellular Phones

Guests are welcome to use cellular phones provided their use does not disturb other guests.

Chewing Tobacco

Chewing tobacco is not permitted in the stadium.

Chair Seats

Personal seat backs and seat cushions may be brought into the stadium but be must be 18 inches or less. They may also be purchased gameday immediately inside the east and west main entrances.  They are $5 per seat and are cash only on gameday.

Children

We offer complimentary admission to children less than two years of age, provided they are accompanied by an adult. These children must sit in the lap of the accompanying adult and not occupy an additional seat. Children must be supervised at all times. Parents are encouraged to pick up an ID bracelet for their children at any Guest Relations kiosk as part of the Lost Parents Program.

Concessions

A variety of concessions are available for purchase throughout the stadium as well as at the Smoker Station is open outside the southwest area of the stadium for the two hours prior to kick-off.

Containers/Outside Beverages

No outside beverages are permitted. Guests with disabilities may bring factory sealed plastic or paper containers that contain liquids required for medical reasons into the facilities and families with infants may bring in appropriate formula/food.

Coors Light Coop

Adjacent to the Fan Zone, enjoy pregame beverages, food and NCAA football gameday coverage while socializing with fellow Blue Hen football fans in The Coors Light Coop this season. In the event of an emergency while attending Delaware Stadium; please call the University of Delaware on-site Command Post at 302-831-3483.

Emergency Evacuation Procedures

If there is ever a time where patrons must evacuate Delaware Stadium, proper evacuation procedure and locations will be communicated over the PA system and video board.  Please be alert.

Entry

Only guests with valid tickets or credentials are permitted into the venue. Delaware Stadium has a no re-admittance policy, which means that once you leave the stadium, you will not be permitted to re-enter without having a new ticket. 

Fan Zone

NEW LOCATION! The Blue Hens Fan Zone opens two hours prior to kick-off and is located in front of the Bob Carpenter Center adjacent to Hospitality Village. Enjoy live music, inflatable games, face painting, giveaways and much more.

First Aid

Emergency first-aid (ambulance service) is available at the southeast and southwest corners of the stadium. Contact the nearest usher or public safety officer to request medical attention.

Food and Beverage

There is no outside food or beverage allowed in the Stadium.

Football Throwing

For the safety of all patrons, the throwing of footballs is prohibited inside the stadium and in all parking areas.

Game Programs

Game programs may be purchased on gameday at various locations.

Game Times/Dates

All game times and dates are subject to change.  Refunds will not be made because of game time and/or date changes.  Visit www.BlueHens.com for the most up-to-date information.

Gate Times

Stadium gates open for admittance 2 hours prior to kick-off for football games.

Group Seating

Group discounts and special seating arrangements are available for groups of 20 or more and must be purchased at least 48 hours in advance via the Delaware Ticket Office at 302-831-2257.

Guest Behavioral Guidelines

We are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable stadium experience for all guests. Fans exhibiting inappropriate behavior (i.e. using foul or abusive language, making abusive gestures or appearing intoxicated) are subject to ejection from the stadium. Repeat offenses will result in the loss of season ticket privileges. If you observe a problem, please contact an usher or public safety officer immediately. To assist with this endeavor, guests are asked to abide by the following Behavioral Guidelines:

  • Guests should not take any action that inhibits the progress of any game or event.
  • Guests should avoid clothing that could potentially distract other guests or diminish the ability of other guests to enjoy any game or event.
  • Guests should avoid the use of foul or abusive language and refrain from making any obscene gestures.
  • Guests should refrain from any display of affection inappropriate in a public setting.
  • In addition to the above guidelines, all guests are required to sit only in their ticketed locations and to present their ticket when requested. Additionally, only authorized individuals may enter the playing field and other restricted areas and guests must refrain from entering such areas without proper authorization.

Guest Relations

Fans may visit our Guest Relations kiosks outside of the stadium on the east and west sides beginning three hours prior to kickoff.  The central Guest Relations kiosk located inside the main gates of Delaware Stadium will open two hours prior to kickoff and remain open through the conclusion of the game.  Guests are invited to stop by these areas for general information, solutions and helpful service.

Handicap Accessible Seating

Handicap accessible seating is located in the west grandstands and the south end zone (in front of the student section). You may call the Delaware Ticket Office at (302) 831-2257 to request accessible seating in advance. Availability is limited and is handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Handicap Parking Shuttle Service

Complimentary handicap parking shuttles are available to assist handicap accessible patrons to and from their vehicles to the stadium. To ride the shuttle, please locate your nearest parking attendant to radio for a pick-up, or you can call 302-831-6979 when needed. At the end of the game these shuttles do continuous loops from the stadium to handicapped patrons' destinations.

Hospitality Village

Patrons looking to purchase a hospitality tent for tailgating, which is located in the Hospitality Village located between the Bob Carpenter Center and South College Avenue, must do so at least one week in advance. To purchase the hospitality package please contact the Delaware Ticket Office atathletics-tix@udel.edu. Tailgate space is not guaranteed and based on availability.

Language

Guests may enjoy the stadium experience free from foul or abusive language or obscene gestures. Lost, Stolen, Left at Home or Destroyed Tickets

The University of Delaware is not responsible for lost, stolen, destroyed or forgotten tickets and they will not be replaced free of charge. Tickets that are lost in the mail must be reported to the Delaware Ticket Office before duplicates can be made.  If tickets are stolen, it must be reported to the Delaware Ticket Office in advance of the game and a stolen property report filed with the police before duplicates can be issued.  If tickets are left home or lost, the season ticket holder must provide a deposit equal to the value of the tickets which will be refunded to them if original unused tickets are returned within 5 business days to the Delaware Ticket Office.

Lost and Found

Lost and found service is maintained at the Guest Relations kiosk on the west side of the stadium inside the main gate. Articles that are found should be turned over to an usher or brought to this location.

Lost Children / People

A guest who has become separated from his or her party should proceed to the closest Guest Relations Kiosk. Families are invited to stop by any Guest Relations kiosk to obtain a complimentary wristband for their children, in the event they become separated from their family.

Merchandise

Official Blue Hens merchandise can be purchased on both the east and west sides of the stadium at the campus shop locations.

Noise Making Devices

Musical instruments or any type of noise-making device are prohibited inside Delaware Stadium, even if purchased on-site at the University.

Paging

The public address system may not be used for paging guests. In the event of a medical emergency or special circumstance, consideration will be given to using a general page.

Pay Phones

There are no pay phones available at Delaware Stadium.

Postponed Events

In the event of a postponed or cancelled event, guests are advised to check the website at www.BlueHens.com, the local newspaper or Blue Hens media affiliates for further information.

UD reserves the right to inspect and remove any packages and containers. All persons are subject to search, which includes clothing, jackets, bags and purses.  The stadium will not be responsible for items left at any of the entry gates.  Fans should return restricted articles to their vehicle.

Delaware Football games are carried live on 94.7FM WDSD.

Recruits/High School Coaches

Recruits will pick up their tickets in the Bob Carpenter Center lobby beginning 90 minutes prior to kick-off.  Visiting high school coaches will enter the stadium through the designated gate to the left of the stadium box office.  A photo I.D. is required to receive a complimentary ticket.  Tickets are stubbed and immediate entrance to the stadium is required.  Gate opens two hours prior to kick-off.  Please plan to arrive early to avoid lines.

Replacement Tickets

Tickets that are lost in the mail must be reported to the Delaware Ticket Office before duplicates can be made.  If tickets are stolen, it must be reported to the Delaware Ticket Office in advance of the game and a stolen property report filed with the police before duplicates can be issued.  If tickets are left home or lost, the season ticket holder must provide a deposit equal to the value of the tickets which will be refunded to them if original unused tickets are returned within 5 business days to the Delaware Ticket Office.

Resale of Tickets

Resale of tickets on stadium grounds is strictly prohibited.

Restrooms are located on the west, east and north sides of the stadium.

Smoking Areas

Delaware Stadium is a non-smoking facility with designated smoking areas located beyond the main concourses in the northwest and southeast corners.

Solicitation & Distribution of Literature

Guests are prohibited from distributing banners, booklets, business cards, circulars, commercial advertising, flyers, folders, handbills, leaflets, notices, pamphlets, posters, stickers or any other written, printed and/or painted material, without written permission from UD Athletics.

Stadium Address

The Athletic Complex is located at 631 South College Avenue, Newark, DE 19716.

Strollers

We welcome guests with strollers, however they are not permitted to be in the stands. Strollers may be checked-in at the Guest Relations kiosk on the west concourse.

Tailgating

Patrons may tailgate beginning 4 hours prior to kickoff and may resume post game for up to two hours after the conclusion of the game. Tailgates must be limited to the immediate space behind the patron's vehicle and driveways must be kept clear at all times. For information on Blue Hens Hospitality packages, call 302-831-2257.

Team Guests (Delaware)

Delaware team guests will enter the stadium through the designated gate to the left of the stadium box office.  A photo I.D. is required to receive a complimentary ticket.  Tickets are stubbed and immediate entrance to the stadium is required.  Gate opens two hours prior to kick-off.  Please plan to arrive early to avoid lines.

Team Guests (Visiting Team)

Visiting team guests will enter the stadium through the designated gate on the EAST SIDE of Delaware Stadium.  A photo I.D. is required to receive a complimentary ticket.  Tickets are stubbed and immediate entrance to the stadium is required.  Gate opens two hours prior to kick-off.  Please plan to arrive early to avoid lines.

Tickets

A ticket for admission is needed for all persons ages 3 and older.  The Delaware Ticket Office is located in the Bob Carpenter Center, 631 S. College Ave. Phone: (302) 831-2257. Email: athletics-tix@udel.edu. Online: www.bluehens.com/tickets. Delaware Stadium Box Office will be open for gameday sales only, based on availability, for the two hours prior to kick-off. The Delaware Stadium Box Office is located on the west side of the stadium underneath the press box.

UD Students

UD students are able to show a valid UD ID Card at the student entrance, located at the southwest gate of Delaware Stadium, to receive a free admission ticket for the UD Student Section (south end zone). UD students are able to visit the Delaware Ticket Office at the Bob Carpenter Center (BCC) the week of the game to purchase a student section guest pass for the game. Limit one per student per game. Student guest passes are not available for all games and limited in quantity. For questions or inquiries, please email the Delaware Ticket Office at athletics-tix@udel.edu.

Umbrellas

Umbrellas are not permitted inside Delaware Stadium. Ponchos are recommended during an event held during inclement weather.

Ushers

Stadium ushers serve the needs of the fans. Contact the nearest usher to request medical assistance or to register complaints about objectionable behavior.

Water Bottles

Fans are allowed to bring in sealed/unopened bottles of water to Delaware Stadium.  All other outside food and beverages are prohibited.

Will Call

Public Will Call is located at the windows of the stadium box office adjacent to the main entrance on the west side of the stadium. To alleviate long lines on the day of the event, we ask that individuals who pre-purchased tickets pick-up any will call tickets prior to the day of the event. Or on the day of the event, we ask that all guests arrive two hours early to pick-up your tickets.
