NEWARK, Del. -- University of Delaware women’s golf head coach Patty Post has announced that Thitaree Sakulbunpanich has signed a National Letter of Intent with the Blue Hens and will begin playing for UD next fall.

Sakulbunpanich, a native of Bangkok, Thailand, finished in third place at the 2015 Thailand Optimist International at Lotus Valley Golf Resort in Chachoengsao, Thailand with a score of 75-71-69-215. She placed eighth at The Optimist International Junior Golf Championships in 2015 at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. by carding a 78-71-75-73.
 
Sakulbunpanich finished in 10th place at the TGA-Singha Junior Golf Championship at Royal Hills Golf Resort and Spa in Thailand with a score of 79-77-77-67-300, and was fourth among amateurs and tied for 17th overall at the 5th SINGHA-SAT THAI LPGA Championship 2016 Presented by TOYOTA by recording a 72-74-75-221.
