HEN SCRATCHINGS

 • WIN AND WE’RE IN: Heading into tonight’s final match of the season, the Blue Hens are in seventh place just one point behind Elon. Delaware can still clinch either the fifth or sixth seed in next week’s CAA Tournament with a victory. The Blue Hens must defeat Elon to advance to the CAA Tournament for the fifth consecutive season.

• STILL A LOT TO WORK OUT: The CAA standings heading into the final day of conference action remain messy. Four different teams can still win the conference, clinching a Quarterfinals bye and home field throughout next week’s CAA Tournament. Five different teams remain in contention for the single bye.

• TWO AWAY FROM HISTORY: Blue Hens goalkeeper Todd Morton is just two victories away from breaking the all-time program mark for career victories. Morton’s next victory will tie him atop the list with former Hen Borja Barbero.

• NEED TO BOUNCE BACK: The Hens are coming off a close battle at #18 Duke Tuesday night. Duke scored early in the match, but a penalty kick by Thibault Philippe tied the action at one. Later in the first half, Duke answered with the game-winner. Delaware battled the Blue Devils until the final whistle but were not able to find the equalizer.

SERIES INFORMATION:

• The Blue Hens are 2-1-1 all-time against Elon.

• Last season the Blue Hens defeated the Phoenix 3-2.
