PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Senior Tyler Flematti (Kingwood, Texas/Kingwood) and freshman Laurenz Lankes (Cologne, Germany) will represent Delaware men’s tennis this coming weekend at the ITA Northeast Regional, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania at the Hecht Indoor Tennis Center.

The pair will kick off play Friday in doubles action against Colgate’s Bobby Alter and Noah Rosenblat. The first eight doubles matches will start at approximately 8 a.m. Friday as Delaware is slated to begin once those matches complete.

Flematti and Lankes are 4-1 in doubles action this season and have defeated teams from Wagner, Saint Joseph’s and Niagara.

In his first season playing collegiately, Lankes will also compete on the singles side and will face Marist’s Rudolf Kurz.  The singles bracket will not begin play prior to 11 a.m. on Friday.

Flematti previously participated in the ITA Atlantic Regional last season in doubles play alongside Shane Jeffray.

The ITA Northeast Regional runs through Tuesday, October 25 and features student-athletes from 35 institutions.
