PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The fall season came to a close Friday for the Delaware men’s tennis team, who competed in the ITA Northeast Regional, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania at the Hecht Indoor Tennis Center.

The Blue Hens opened the regional with a doubles loss to Colgate.  Senior Tyler Flematti (Kingwood, Texas/Kingwood) and freshman Laurenz Lankes (Cologne, Germany) paired for the 8-2 loss to Bobby Alter and Noah Rosenblat.  The duo finishes the fall campaign with a 4-2 record.

On the singles side, Lankes dropped the 7-5, 6-1 match to Marist’s Rudolf Kurz. Lankes is now 3-8 in his first collegiate season.
