NEWARK, Del. --  The University of Delaware baseball program begins its ‘fall world series’ Wednesday afternoon. The three-game series concludes on Sunday with a special ceremony honoring the 2017 Colonial Athletic Association Champions, beginning at 10:45 a.m.

All three games will be played at Bob Hannah Stadium, with Wednesday and Thursday’s games beginning at 3:30 p.m. Sunday’s third game will begin around 11:15 a.m. Senior Nick Spadafino is scheduled to start game one for team gold while fellow senior Colman Vila will get the ball for team blue. The world series continues Thursday at 3:30 p.m. with Kyle Hinton (gold) and Cole Benjamin (blue) scheduled to start. The action concludes Sunday, with Matt Hornich (gold) and freshman Billy Sullivan (blue) due to start.
