HEN SCRATCHINGS  🐔
• Delaware returns from a four-day Thanksgiving break to host Ivy League opponent Yale at the Bob Carpenter Center.
• The Blue Hens are looking for their first 5-2 start since the 2010-11 squad also won five of its first seven games.
• Delaware carries a two-game winning streak into the contest, after defeating North Carolina Wesleyan last Tuesday and Longwood on Wednesday.
• The Blue Hens were tied with the Lancers at 57-57, but scored the final eight points of the game while holding Longwood scoreless over the final 5:16 of the contest.
• UD freshman Ryan Allen came off the bench to lead the Blue Hens with a season-high 19 points. He finished 8 of 13 from the field and added five rebounds.
Ryan Daly scored 16 points for the second consecutive afternoon, and finished 8 of 8 from the foul line.
Derrick Woods, who posted his first double-double with career-highs of 19 points and 10 rebounds vs. North Carolina Wesleyan, added 11 points and nine boards against Longwood.
Eric Carter missed the Blue Hens’ last two games with an ankle injury suffered vs. UNCG, but is expected to return tonight.
• Yale has won all three previous meetings between the two schools, including last year’s 81-63 triumph in New Haven.
