·    The Blue Hens moved up one spot to No. 7 in this week’s Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I Coaches Poll. Delaware received 832 points after defeating Drexel and Lafayette by a combined score of 13-0.
     ·    Midfielder Lotte de Koning was named the CAA Field Hockey Rookie of the Week after posting two goals and two assists versus the Dragons and Leopards.
     ·    Greta Nauck sits alone in second place in the UD record books with 125 career points. Kelly Cawley (1995-98) is the Delaware career leader with 127 points.
     ·    Greta Nauck is also second all-time in program history with 53 career goals. Sharon Wilkie (1979-82) is first with 59 career scores.
     ·    Taylor Lister moved into a tie for second place all-time alongside Katie Evans (2003-06) with 30 career assists. Kelly Cawley (1995-98) is the Delaware leader with 49 career helpers.
     ·    Emmeline Oltmans is seventh for the Hens with 256 career saves. Nikki Rhoades (2005-08) is sixth overall with 282 career stops.
     ·    The Hens are 60-50 (.545) all-time in CAA play with six conference titles.
     ·    The four-time defending conference champion Blue Hens were picked as the CAA field hockey favorite for the fourth straight season in the league’s preseason poll.
     ·    The 2016 Honda Award winner for field hockey, junior Greta Nauck was tabbed the CAA Preseason Player of the Year while seniors Emmeline Oltmans and Taylor Lister and juniors Kiki Bink and Lisa Giezeman garnered Preseason All-CAA accolades.
     ·    Delaware captured the program’s first-ever NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship in 2016.

Delaware returns seven starters and 13 letter winners from a season ago while welcoming seven newcomers to the roster.
     ·    The Hens feature a total of seven international players on the roster.
     ·    Kayla Devlin and Emmeline Oltmans were chosen as team captains this season.
     ·    Head coach Rolf van de Kerkhof (Fonty’s Hogeschool ’96) returns for his seventh season at the helm of the Blue Hens and holds an all-time record of 94-48 (.662) at Delaware.
