Four-time letterwinner for the Blue Hens • four-time All-American  • finished his career the all-time leading scorer in school history with 117 points • All-time career goal scorer in school history with 49 goals • All-time career assists leader in school history with 19 • career-leader with 16 game-winning goals and 287 shots • Graduated from Delaware in May 2017 • Drafted 27th overall by the Chicago Fire in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft. 

2016 SEASON

Team captain alongside Thibault Philippe and Ben Sampson named to MAC Hermann Award Watch List Preseason All-CAA • enjoyed a very successful senior season in which he appeared in the starting XI in all 19 games he played in • led the CAA in multiple categories including shots with 56, points with 32, goals with 12 and assists with 8 • ranked 14th nationally in goals, 9th in total points, and 7th with 1.68 points per game

Team captain alongside Thibault Philippe and Ben Sampson • NSCAA Third Team All-American • NSCAA Third Team All-Midwest Region • All-CAA First Team • MAC Hermann Award Watch List • Top Drawer Soccer Preseason Best XI Second Team • appeared in the starting XI in all 20 games played • helped lead Delaware to second straight CAA title game appearance • led the CAA and was 12th nationally with 3.95 shots per game • also was tops in the league with 10 goals on the year and 1.20 points per game, marks good for 26th and 55th, respectively, across NCAA Division I rankings • registered a career-best five points off two goals and an assist in team's 4-0 victory over James Madison (Oct. 28), the first against the Dukes in Newark since 2009 • earned CAA Player of the Week accolades on Nov. 2 • third in program single-season history with 79 shots and four game-winning goals • tied for 13th in UD single-season history with 24 points • tied for ninth all-time for the Blue Hens with a season-best seven shots in 5-1 win against Drexel (Oct. 14) • D1 HERO of the Week (Nov. 11).

2013 SEASON
Enjoyed an outstanding freshman season in which he was one of the nation's most prolific scorers • became first freshman in school history to earn All-American honors when he earned second team honors by NSCAA/Continental Tire • earned fourth team All-American honors and was selected as national Freshman of the Year by College Sports Madness •  ranked No. 5 freshman in the nation by TopDrawer.com • first team All-South Atlantic Region and second team ECAC All-East • named Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Year and first team All-CAA • UD Alumni Association Team Most Valuable Player •  two-time CAA Rookie of the Week • started all 20 games at forward and tallied 15 goals and 5 assists for 35 points • led all NCAA freshman and was No. 4 overall in total goals (15) and ranked No. 4 in total points (35) • led a Delaware offense that ranked No. 2 in the nation with 2.25 goals per game • recorded 87 total shots with 47 of them on goal • scored a goal in each of his first five career games and scored at least one goal 12 times and had at least one point 16 times • scored two goals each vs. UNLV (collegiate debut) and in consecutive games vs. Seton Hall and Saint Bonaventure in September • dished out two assists vs. Iona • had season-high seven shots vs. Manhattan, Saint Peter's, and Drexel • one of only two players on squad to start all 20 games (Ben Sampson) • part of team that set a school record for wins in a season (14-5-1) and made its second trip to the NCAA Tournament in three years for head coach Ian Hennessy.

Guillermo [ghee—air—moh] León Delgado • born July 8, 1994 in Madrid, Spain • nickname is ‘Guille' • son of Juán José León and Maria del Rosario Delgado Abad • has one younger sibling • health and physical education major at Delaware with a minor in strength & conditioning • enjoys cooking, playing video games, hanging out with friends, and listening to music in his spare time • also very interested in technological gadgets • aspires to become a personal trainer • lists Real Madrid as his favorite professional soccer team • took part in the Union Summer Selection Program during summer of 2014 • led Sounders FC U23 squad to Premier Development League Western Conference Championship and tournament semifinal appearance in summer 2015 under head coach Darren Sawatzky • returned to the Sounders FC U23 PDL team during the summer of 2016.
