Elementary to Talk About the Importance of Education
CLAYMONT, Del. – Taking time out from their busy in- season schedule, members of the University of Delaware Women's Swimming and Diving team visited Maple Lane
Elementary in Claymont, Delaware on Jan. 10.
They met with a group of 5th grade
girls to talk about the importance of education and the benefits of being
healthy and participating in athletics.
The group of young elementary school girls had a chance to talk with the student athletes and ask questions about college, swimming and diving, how to stay physically fit and much more.
