1. What are your individual goals this season?
My Individual goals for the season are simple. Catch the ball every time it's thrown to me and make something special happen. If I can make special things happen every game then that will benefit the team by setting the tone. I am a leader and really need to set an example for the freshman and newcomers about what Delaware Football means.
2. What do you hope to see your team accomplish in 2012?
I plan on being part of a team that gets to the championship and wins. The time spent with my teammates during the season is a special bond that you can get few other places and it's fun.
3. What are you taking away from last season and bringing to this season?
Actually, something that has stuck with me since the 2010 season is how much everyone on the team trusted the person next to them. Everyone was focused on what they're own assignment was and trusted the person next to them to do the same. I think that's more important than having a lot of talent in the room.
4. What made you want to study and play football at Delaware?
I really didn't know much about Delaware as a university when I was in high school. But once I was being recruited by UD, I learned a lot from the coaches who recruited me and I landed here in a great atmosphere with a great football program and great school in general.
5. What is your major, and why did you choose it?
I am a leadership major with a concentration in law and public policy and I choose that major because of the flexibility it allowed me with what I wanted to do. It has taught me how to work with others and many other intangible skills that can be used almost anywhere.
6. What sport would you play if not football?
I would play basketball without a doubt. Basketball is my favorite sport to watch and play in my spare time.
7. If you could play for any professional football team, which one would you pick?
If I could play for any professional football team it would be the Green Bay Packers or New Orleans Saints. I love their fast-paced offenses and if I could play with great QBs like an Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees, that would be amazing.
8. What has been your favorite class here?
My favorite class has been Accounting 207. My professor, Michael Van Leer, was a great teacher and I learned a lot about accounting and life from him.
9. What are your plans after college?
My plans after college are to make it in the NFL and to make a career out of football. If not, I feel that my time here at UD would have prepared me for more schooling. I would love to try law school, which a lot of people don't know.
10. What has been your most memorable experience been at the university?
My most memorable moment at this university has been the playoff run in 2010 and making it to the National Championship. The memories I have from that year will stick with me for the rest of my life and even though we lost it was a great experience from beginning to end.
