Question #1. How does it feel to start the season on such a high note?
"It really feels good and nice winning both home and away games in the beginning of the season, setting a good tone for the conference."
2. What was it like to play in Delaware's first-ever CAA tournament?
"It was great and exciting at the same time, for being part of a group that made it far in the history of Delaware soccer.
3. What are your team and individual goals this season?
"The teams goal for this season is to make it to the NCAA and win the CAA for the first time. My individual goal is to score 15 goals and make the All-American team."
4. What made you want to study and play soccer at Delaware, and in the United States?
"I had many offers from many big college soccer programs like UNC and stuff but chose Delaware because I thought about how those schools have already built their programs and I wanted to be in a program that will acknowledge my effort and also do my best to make it better like the other big soccer programs. I also wanted to be a better student since Delaware is known for being one of the best universities with a nice campus in the states. I came to the U.S. for a good education and the U.S. is the place where you can go to school and also play soccer at a good level and at the same time study for your degree as well."
5. What is your major, and why did you choose it?
"
I am a sociology major and I chose it because I think more about society and how my contribution can help people, especially in the area of drug addiction which in many ways is destroying the world."
6. What sport would you play if not soccer?
"I will say basketball even though I’m not tall. I liked it when I was little and even now. I am really good at jumping so I guess it would have helped in that sport."
7. What are your thoughts on calling the game "soccer" vs. calling it "football"?
"Calling it soccer makes me feel like I’m playing some different sport. But football is what we all know it as outside of the states."
8. What has been your favorite class here at Delaware?
"My favorite class here was a theatre class, Introduction to Performance. It was the first time I was involved in a play and performed in front of people besides playing soccer."
9. What are your plans after college?
"I would like to try to play professional soccer and then coach little kids."
10. What has been your most memorable experience been at the university?
"My most memorable time here at UD was when we qualified for the CAA conference tournament for the first time with a win at our home field."
