What makes the University of Delaware such a special place?
"Definitely the people. I have met so many wonderful people since I started here in 2007."
What do you attribute the success of the Blue Hen volleyball program to?
"All of the hard-working women who have ever been a part of the Blue Hen Volleyball program. It truly is a tradition and it has been in the making since long before I even arrived on campus. When you set foot in the gym you completely understand that the bar has been set high by those before you and want to do nothing more than continue to raise the standard."
What are your plans after graduation?
"I hope to obtain a post-graduate internship or full-time position in college athletics. My dream would to be a member of the next NCAA internship class."
How important has your community service in your experience at the University of Delaware?
"Community service has been a huge part of my time here at UD. Through the volleyball team I have spent time working with Special Olympics Athletes and raised money for Breast Cancer. Our team also participates in the Friends of Jacyln Foundation an organization that allows teams to adopt young children fighting brain cancer. Through this foundation we have adopted Princess Olivia and strive to provide a strong support system for her and her family."
What has been your favorite moment/memory since you have been at Delaware?
"I would have to say winning our 2nd straight CAA title in 2008 with a 3-2 victory over Northeastern."
