The previous surface, a Rye/Fuscue, mix was replaced with Bermuda grass, making Delaware Mini-Stadium one of the premier natural fields in the Colonial Athletic Association. The track is a Eurotan Track (made by Southwest Recreational) and is made of granular rubber base and a polyurathane coat. The track was installed by Clark Corp. of Delhi, NY. The field is lighted by six poles with 92 fixtures. The lights were installed by Musco lighting of Iowa.
