The University of Delaware Licensing and Trademark Program was developed to promote, enhance, elevate and protect the University's identity and brand and ensure the proper and appropriate use of its name, logos and trademarks. The University has registered many of University of Delaware's names, logos and trademarks with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the State of Delaware.
UD Athletics is a vital and highly visible aspect of the UniversityÕs brand identity. The University of Delaware has a primary athletics mark and secondary mark.

The University's athletics logos should never be used in place of the UD primary logo or primary logo with tagline lockup in any academic application. All official athletics marks should display the primary or secondary athletics mark. All athletics marks must be reproduced from official artwork provided through OCM. All athletics marks must be displayed using the official primary University colors listed below. No other colors are permitted.
Please obtain approval from the Associate Director of Athletics for External Affairs at (302) 831-2724 prior to producing correspondence, personal stationary, brochures, camp literature, websites, etc.
