Allie Fedorowicz was hired as the Director of Basketball Operations at the University of Delaware in September of 2010, following an outstanding career at Cornell University where she was a co-captain in 2009-10.
The 2011-12 season will mark Fedorowicz's second season as the Director of Basketball Operations for the Blue Hens.
A native of Abington, Pa., Fedorowicz was twice named to an All-Tournament team in 2009-10, earning honors at DePaul Classic and again at the Virginia Holiday Tournament. She was a starter on the 2007-08 team which captured the Ivy League championship and earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament. As a senior, she led the team in points (12.2 per game) and steals (29) while averaging 31.0 minutes a game. She left her mark in the Big Red record book, ranking second in career three-point field goals (148) and third in career free throw percentage (.816).
A 2010 graduate of Cornell, Fedorowicz worked with the Cornell athletics department student services department since 2008, managing and organizing the Student-Athlete's Assistance Fund with a $55,000 budget. She also assisted with sports nutrition workshops held at Cornell as a panel member and during the summer of 2009, completed an internship with The Food Trust in Philadelphia.
From 2006-09, Fedorowicz worked with the Blue Chip Basketball Tournament, held in State College, Pa. and helped organize games while managing admissions, coaches, athletes and facilities. She also worked at the Kelly Greenberg Basketball Camp, based in New Hope, Pa., from 2002-09.
Fedorowicz is currently working towards her Master of Sciences degree in health promotion at the University's College of Health Sciences.
